About Dentistry For Children
Located at 1111 N Parkway Frontage Rd, Lakeland, FL 33803, Dentistry For Children operates as a dental clinic serving Lakeland in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Lakeland, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Florida, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 amβ5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Dentistry For Children at (844) 817-0281; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is lakelandpediatricdentistry.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating stands at 3.3 out of 5 from 22 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Fantastic experience! All of the staff were so kind and welcoming. My daughter is 3 and was nervous about going to the dentist. They have a large waiting room and a separate room for kids with video games and a movie. In the area where they do the cleaning and exams itβs decorated fun and they have more video games. After my daughterβs X-rays, cleaning, and exam she was given a goodie bag with a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss. She was also given a balloon and tokens to get 2 prizes out of the prize machine. I will be making an appointment for my other daughter to go there as well since we had a great experience.

This placeβ¦ unfortunately there is nothing positive I personally can say. They wonβt allow you to go to the back with your child even being a special needs kid. You sit there, and start taking with other parents, is impressive, I donβt get why parents still going here. Long waiting time. You are no able to see the facilities, who guarantee you itβs all sanitize and clean in there? This stupidity of not allowing parents go in has no sense. Dentist say: βwe want to create a relationship where the kid feels confidentβ First, youβre taking about a kid, most of them feel more confident with their parents around. What a relationship? You donβt even care about what is really happening with that kid. What guarantee you they arenβt torturing your kid, and then giving them a balloon and a bag as a prize to keep them βhappyβ? It may sounds dramatic, but, nobody can tell whatβs going on. Second, is the only doctor (the dentists) who ask you to leave you kid alone. Why? What they do there? Who knows! Third, you will never see the doctor. Who tells you is a real Dr working with your kid? If you have a question you have to ask the βnursesβ, and they will go inside to ask, to come back and respond

I went to this dentist when I was younger. He told my parents that I needed 8 teeth pulled from my mouth to make room for my wisdom teeth. They ripped out 8 good teeth to make room for wisdom teeth which ended up coming out as well. It was extremely painful experience at a young age that was completely avoidable had my parents gotten a second opinion. Please get you child a second opinion before letting this office do any major repairs! Your child will thank you later on.
